On my first mothers day, I awoke to the sound of a bag being shaken and a very irritated (because I wasn't already awake) Moses trying to get into it. Sam and I had to wrestle 'my' present off of him so that I could gaze upon it. It turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL handmade pearl trinket box which Moses had picked out himself from my favorate shop in Newbury. He had been reluctant to let it go ever since, but eventually handed it over to me (I traded him with the paper bag it came in)
Its got a space ontop to put a picture of us in. I have to find a special one.
I'm going to keep my wedding rings in there when I take them off (I do when I wash my hands, I can't stand them getting wet)
I also got a lovely card from him and another one from Sam.
Not to mention a jacket that I've been wanting for a while! (thanks Sam)
We spent the day with my mum. I spent a lot of time writing the messege in the card I gave her because, let's face it, now have an idea of how much she's done for me, now that I'm trying (my hardest) to do the same with my boy. Although I could never compare.
I feel that no words on a card can explain how grateful I am to her that she not only kept me alive, but taught me and raised me and loved me over the last 22 (nearly 23) years.
So I also bought her a scarf.
Maybe that will help get the messege across. It was really nice...
Hopefully I can now spend the next 23+ mothers days enjoying my children's gratitude (hopefully) and trying my hardest to bestow mine upon my mum.
Thanks mum. One day I hope to be just half the women you are.

Goodbye Christmas...
So we finally took down our tree yesterday! A sad, sad moment. I have to say though it's so much easier then putting the thing up! Although trying to remember which ball balls fit into which box was annoying. There is now a gaping space in our living room where the tree used to live. So weird, it didn't seem to have something missing before, but now post Christmas has made it seem bare! alas, I will have to make do with the memories of moses's first Christmas, and wait patiently untill next year.
Goodbye Christmas...see you in like 352 days :(

Christmas is here!
We got home last night about 11pm, all tired and weary of course, there was some post on the floor. Amongst the post was a tiny tiny envelope about the size if your palm, it was adressed to Moses.
I knew who had sent it cause I'd recognised the writing!
No it wasn't santa
Anyway I sat down with mo (who was naughtily still awake) and we opened it. Inside it said:
'to Moses, merry Christmas, we love you, Nate and Zachary'
How cute!!! His first Christmas card! I was very chuffed! Not to mention I'd been with amy all night and she hasn't said anything! It was lovely to get something through the post though and Moses loved opening it.
I now realise I haven't done any of my cards, put up any decorations and haven't finished my shopping...
I guess Christmas is finally here!

Blonde today red tomorrow!
Sooooo I ditched the blonde and went for RED!
It was scary at first but I'm glad of the change, and my opinion it looks wicked! Thanks to Luke and Soph for an amazing cut and color!
I've been mega busy with my castings and jewellery this week, I have been in serious work-no-play mode! You'll see the fruits of my labours on the little casting companies Facebook page if you wanna take a little peek.
Something I've really been enjoying is the photoshopping from the numerous shoots ive been doing...so dam fun! And have missed it! Again I'll be posting more picks soon.
Off topic. I've really been missing books recently, I haven't had the time to read plus every book on my shelve I've already read twice! Need some recommendations people!
When is an acceptable time to put up your Xmas tree? Its do tricky, I don't wanna look to enthusiastic and put it up waaaaay early but also I wanna enjoy it for a whole before it gets ripped down and shoved back in the box (that's right a fake tree this year) I was thinking next weekend but that's a relatives wedding...will have to fit it in during the week perhapsly.
Speaking of Christmas zero of my shopping is done. One of the downsides of being rediculously busy in the work department. Although sam has said many a time moses is so young he will probably enjoy the wrapping paper more then the gifts...I think Sam has no faith in my ability to buy awsome gifts for my son!
I remember once James my brother in law told me when he was working at house of frasier a guy came in a free weeks before Xmas and bough like 5 £50 gift vouchers from him and said 'well that's my Christmas gifts sorted' first of all I wish I was that guys friend, and second of all what a genius plan! If only I had £50 to spend on everyone....
I shall update again when the attempt of putting up the Christmas tree is upon us, meanwhile stay up to date with my pics on the Facebook page and have yourselves a merry christmas!

Me lovin the Wales!
Hey everyone!
Sorry it's been super long since I blogged last, but fear no longer my lovely followers...I now have blogger on my iPhone!!!!
I shall be blogging all day long (you know you Love it)
Erm but adding pics I'm not sure if you can add them were you want or if they all get added at the bottom. So I'll just put (see pics) after something which has a pic attached to it. K?
So I've been MEGA busy with my buisness. This Christmas season, my casts and jewellery have been so popular! Which is great. I've been doing lots of baby/craft fairs and they have been really good.
The first one I went to was pants, there were about 10 stall holders and only 5 customers turned up. We were there from 11am-4pm so as you can imagine I just wanted to die!
The rest of them have been good like I say which is a relief as I thought all the events I went too would be as diabolical as the first!!!!
I have to say the highlight of my week this week has been going to Wales with my girls and seeing Rie! Poor lady, she's stuck 4.5 hours away in the land of the sheepskin do we thought we would go there and give her a bubba shower as Shes only a few weeks away from giving birth! I have to say she looks glowing tho!
Me Amz and Cath set out candles and a little foot spa for her as a surprise, I think she liked us all rubbing her feet and polishing her nails!
Me and Amz also made her a nappy cake (see pics below) which was a heck of a Job but turned out ok!
Then after we made it Amz showed me a pic of dayna kliens nappy cakes (which she makes for a living I'm sure) which were AMAZIN! So I wanted to quietly sob into a pillow.
One evening in Wales we stopped at the beach and I took pics of Andy Rie and Emma for my portfolio, which were amazing because of the sunset and the pebbly beach and my amazing models!!! I will post pics soon. After Andy took Emma home and us girls had a hot choc in the pub.
I paid by card but the minimum payment was £10, our order came to £8 so the bloke behind the bar said I could get cash back to make it over a tenner. I replies by saying 'what's that?' LOL!!!
I knew what cash back was by the way!
My Brain just wasnt working.
Anyway with that the bar tender AND the 2 strangers next to me at the bar burst into laughter.
I shall think before I open my gob next time I think!
The hot choc was yum tho (see pics)
The journey there and back was fun with us in the car, had lots of chats and was so good to catch up again! Next time I see Rie she will have a new baby! Bless.
Ugh went to go spinning tonight and it was full!?!? What's that about? Anyway I went into the gym but of course I has no headphones so I was just running/cycling in silence. Nothing like listening to the sound of your breathing to spur you on lol! Also there was this really annoying girl next to me who was STICK thin, as in she didn't need to be there, who was on the cross trainer at the lowest level just casually cross-training away putting no effort in, breaking no sweat, and she was reading vogue!!! I thought just get out...honestly! It's women like that who make women like me look like fattys on a convayer belt!
All could have been avoided if I was 5 mins early for spinning. Dam me.
I've decided I'm changing slimming work group. To put it mildly, our group is cack. I like the people who go, but there is zero support from the counciler who doesn't want to be there. So stay tuned I'll let you know where my new group is and what my weight loss is! (I'm sure your all on the edge or your seats haha)
So that's about it for the week. One more cute picture, Moses in his new hat for winter. His head is so round!!!
See u next time xxx

Hello my lovelies!
Sorry it's been a while, i'm not gunna lie, I forgot to blog...whoops!
It's only a short one this time. I've got so much work to do over the next few weeks you might not get an update for a while, so drink it up whilst you can peeps!
I've been ebaying like a crazy person, it's become my life and I find myself checking the status of my auctions constantly on my phone! All sam see's at night is the light of my phone shining bright because i'm checking my 'watch list' before I sleep!!!! I guess that's what happends when you want a bargain.
But seriously I highly reccommend it if you want a bargain, or if you need some extra cash you can put anything on there and it will sell for something! It's a great way of recyceling and making some cash!
I have to say though, we sold our old PC for just under what we paid for it so that was a result, and some old clothes sold, but by farr the best sale was my old prom dress!!! I found it in my mums attick, and after trying it on and realising that is DEFINITLY DOES NOT FIT ANYMORE I decided I would sell it, the dam thing cost so much money!
I have a little pic of me squeezing into it for the sake of the auction photos, brace yourself, it aint pretty:
What a beaut it is, I swear it looked good back in the day when I was a size 12 and could pull it off. Now it kind looks like a loo roll cover. hmmmm.
Yea so I sold that little puppy but I have to say the comedy factor of me shoe-horning myself into it was priceless.
Which moves me nicely onto my next topic of weight loss, last week I lost 1bls but I want to loose more this week, and as for the last 2 days i've been sooooooo ill from food poisening I better had lost something!
My goal is 1st 5bls off by christmas day. It means I have to loose on average 2lbs per week, which I have been told can be done. pah! lets put it this way....I am not having a lean christmas this year! Me wants my after eights and stuffing...not together tho.
We had a brill night out this week, it was lucy's birthday and we went for a meal at zizi's. I had this salad thing which was lush, but it was so nice to be with friends and family and everyone was having a laugh! Lucy told us that if you fart on someones pillow they wake up the next morning with pink eye! I nearly wet myself...I guess we know what luc does at sleepovers lol
Needless to say we were all a bit hyper that night, but it was funny.
Arn't we beautifull :P Amz you look brilliant.
We finished painting moses's cot this week. I was so excited to put it in his nursery. It's all basically finished now. Theres no paint on the walls because were only renting but I've tried to decorate with pictures and letters lol
As you can see he loves his new cot:
We also picked up a second hand wooden high chair from mamas and papas on ebay (yes once again I love ebay) he also loves that too:
We discovered 2 days later we had the cushion upside down. woops. I think he loves the chair cause he can now be at the same hieght as us when we eat, bless him he's growing up so quick!!!
I've been staying up at mums house for the last few days, she has a slate floor and we put moses in the walker on it and he could actually move around! to say he was walking would be a bit of an overstatement but he was sort of shuffling his way around the room looking very please with himself :)
I'm sorry but in the background my mum is watching steps reunion....what an earth is that about?! loved them 10 years ago when I was 12 and could dance along to the cheesy tracks but can't deal with the forced reunion. All they have been chatting about for the last hour is how much they didnt want to get back together and how hard it was....don't then! Gotta love money hungery washed out celebs.
Speaking of watching things on TV....I am LOVING the vampire diaries season 3 at the moment, brilliant I am absolutley hooked. I could go on and on and on about it, but I will save you from the bordom of my opinions on that matter.
Also Kirsties homemade britain started tonight, love it. I thik her and I are VERY simmilar. We both want to make beautifull things from scratch, but half the time when we do they turn out cack! oh well, perhaps I will master the art of jam making one day! I guess you all know what your getting for your xmas pressies (you actually are, I've already collected the jars haha!) Pretend you love it, even tho it taste like tar.
On a different tangent...I have 7 Xmas craft fairs booked to showcase my products! I'm going to be working my little socks off over november! I have this little pamper evening coming up for pregnant ladies and I'm there to showcase my pregnant belly casting, i'm off to cath's this weekend to cast her belly so I have some more examples to show people. I've bought a new mixing drill (to mix the casting material) and paddle attachement for it to try out so i'm very excited :) I basically just have to cover her in pink sticky gel and wait for it to dry...poor girl...the things she does for me and my art!! Love ya cath. I will post a piccy once it's all done, if it looks ok!
Ooooooh and were off to rie's in a few weeks. the second weekend in novemeber. Shes nearly gunna pop so me amz and caf are off to the other side (and I really mean the other side) of Waled to visit our homeslice, before her 2nd bubba is born. very excited :)
Right i'm off to bed now, it's 11 and only a few more hours till mo wakes up so I gotta get some shut eye! (not pink eye luc) till next time my lovelies

First post
Hi everyone!
So I've decided (after much deliberation) that I would start a little blog.
There were many reasons, but the main one was because I love writing and I thought I could create this as a sort of journel (thanks amz for suggesting it!) because I'm rubbish with writing in my ACTUAL diary :)
And lots of you mummies out there have a blog, so I thought i'd join in!!
What you can expect:
So yeah...That's about it.
I hope lots of you follow me, and I'll follow you back. It's nice to hear a lot about someone's goings on through a blog I think.
So I'll start my blog with my goings on this week :)
October...The begining...
This week I've been caining it at the gym. Last week I put on some weight so I really wanted to go for it this time. I did spinning once and zumba twice.
For those of you who arn't sure what spinning is, it's basically a class on bikes. But the bikes are like road bikes but stationary, theres an instructor, and very very loud music. You bascially pedol untill you either die, or the instructor tells you to stop!!!! You change resistance so it becomes easier/harder and you can't just STOP the pedals because they are weighted so you just have to slowley stop.
It's like death on a bike.
And it lasts 45 minutes.
I like spinning but it is sooooooooooooooo hard!!! I look around the room and its like everyone is having a picnic and i'm sweating and crying (almost) and I'm not even 10 minutes in! I'm sure i'll get better at it soon, Spinning is something you have to work really hard at to be able to keep up with the instructor. So when she shouts 'turn that resistance up one notch!!!' I pretend to! lol! Otherwise I would through up!
I'm sure your all familliar with zumba, this is my favoraite class. The instructor still shouts at you over loud music, but its a lot more of a laugh.
If your un-coordinated (like me) then it's still fun, cause everyone else there is the same! people dance this way and that and are equally as confused as you are. But most of them are laughing and it's just a lot of fun!
It burns and lot of calories for me and I think it's begining to help my co-ordination. fingers crossed!
So yeah I've been trying really hard, and I lost 2.5lbs which was ok but because of the gym my body is building up muscle so i'm weighing a bit more. catch 22.
But at least it's going in the wright direction.
The diet 'slimming world' is basically a none fat diet. You can basically have anything you want, but if has to be none fat and if it isn't then you have to count it.
I like making the food, and it's fun to try new stuff. I made this AMAZING turkey thai green curry tonight. The idea came from sarah wrenn. She told me if you make a curry using the fat free muller light coconut yoghart instead of coconut milk or cream (which are loaded with calories) it tastes great! so I just applies it to a thai curry instead.
Just fry some onion in fry light, once thier brown add the turkey, a some garlic, pepper and some beansprouts. Then once the turkey is cooked ad 1-2 tablespoons of thai green curry paste (try to use a very low fat once under 2.0 grams) then add in 1-2 pots of the muller light depending on how saucy you like it or on how many people its for. Put the noodles on. Add a bit of soy sauce to the curry. Plate up once the noodles are done and sprinkle with some chopped spring onion. Yummy, here it is:
Tis delish. And it only takes around 20mins!
I'll try and post a few recipies every week. Dont expect any sweet ones, i'm rubbish in making them and to be honest the slimming world deserts are mank. I've just resorted to having an options hot chocolate when I'm craving sweet. I make it with milk HE+a and its only 2 syns.
On a totally un-related note, I'm very excited as I have several bookings for xmas art fairs for my buisness. I sell/make childrens silver fingerprint jewellery and 3d hand castings:
Just some examples. I'll post new pics when I make things for clients. I made a beautifull peice for my mother in law honor, it was 6 hands!!! all printed into clay and painted gold. Once I get a piccy i'll post, then you can see what i'm barking about!
So I'm excited I can showcase my peices at local events and fairs to get the word out there! Although i'm anticipating a busy xmas, maybe extra exposure is the wrong idea!
Quick note, my auntie lisa is getting married in december after 10 years of being engaged!!! im very excited so will be blogging about wedding things and would love any tips and treats you have to share on the wedding front!!!
Enough rambelings I suppose, and it's getting late for me! so I shall leave it here. Thanks for following, thanks for reading.
Nighty Night Night XxXxX

What you can expect:
- I'm rubbish at spelling. Not even kidding. I'm like a 10 year old in my abilities to spell properly. So my apologies everyone. That also goes for grammer too! expect both to be very...very bad!
- Lots to do with family things, mostly gushy pictures of Moses doing things which most people would find mundaine, but cause i'm his mum I find them SPECTACULAR!
- I'm a member of slimming world, I cook a lot of healthy food, so you'll get lots of pics and recipes for yummy meals....or ones that I have burnt and taste grosce!!!
- Rambilings...lots of them. If i'm in a great mood, or a bad one, you'll hear about it!!!- but not in a apathetic emo way...i'll try and put a comical spin on it all!!
- I'm also thinking of writing some sort of book. So perhaps I might publish a chapter or two every week for everyone.
- Some stuff about work, i'll keep this minimum, i'm not on here to advertise!
